In 2007 BPTA is focused on promoting its mission and fund raising activities.

Oregon Tourism Bureau Awards BPTA $10,000 in Grant funding for the "Mapping the Deschutes Paddle Trail Project"

National Parks Service Extends Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program Support to BPTA for a Second Year

Annual Paddle Day on the Deschutes Introduces over 80 Paddlers to Various Stretches of the Deschutes River and Several Upper Cascade Lakes. The tours were followed by a BBQ and Live Music

Oregon State Parks RTP Committee Ranked BPTA's Grant Application 5th out of 35 Requests, with the top 10 projects likely to be funded. Official Notification of the $71,000 award for the Deschutes Paddle Trail Maps and Signs will occur in late summer or early fall after Federal Government Approval
